Dr. Tarek Amer, F.R.C.S.I, M.D., M.Sc., M.B.B.ch, Professor of plastic surgery at the Faculty of Medicine – Cairo University. Dr. Tarek graduated and received his training at Cairo University Hospital, became a staff member at the same university. He also received training in Chung Gang memorial hospitals in Taiwan. In addition to his work as a professor, he is also the Coordinator of the microsurgery training program at the Faculty of Medicine – Cairo University. He has more than 20 years of experience in the field of facial reanimation, which led to Amer’s classification system of territories of facial nerve injury in early cases published in JPRAS, June 2020
