王增涛教授是我国世界闻名的显微外科医生。现任山东省立医院手足外科主任，中华显微外科学会教授、主任医师，中国显微外科医师协会副会长，山东省手外科与显微外科学会创始人、领导者，山东省创伤外科学会副会长。

王教授的工作富有创造性，主要侧重于临床研究与基础医学研究相结合。他发表了数篇基于临床医学领域创新技术的世界级原创成果。例如，王教授在低温器官保存方面的研究取得了巨大的进步。他成功再植了三例在-196°C低温下保存的断指。此外，他还创造了手指全形再造术，这一术式为世界上已经使用了30余年的传统手术——即通过切断二足趾来再植手指——带来了全新的视角。这项新术式可以使再造的手指与原始手指相似，而不是脚趾。他的创造力和创新的远见引领着重建外科领域进入了一个新时代。

更加超乎想象的是，王教授在审查和修订显微外科解剖学方面付出了巨大的努力，帮助阐明了与显微外科相关的许多解剖结构。他的贡献对显微重建外科领域的进步和发展产生了非凡的影响。他还有许多关于这方面的著作，例如《显微外科临床解剖图谱》。

早在1999年，王教授就创立了一个品牌网站“HANDSURGERY”，这是一个四肢显微手术案例分享和教学的平台，是在线学习的先驱。2016年，王教授与Isao Koshima教授共同创办了“超级显微外科国际课程(ICSM)”。ICSM的目的是探索显微外科的新前沿，可以概括为三个方面:超微小、超具挑战性、超新颖的显微手术案例。2017年至2019年间，在中国的济南和大连分别举办了三场国际会议。同时，ICSM与IMC在线合作，不断推广超级显微外科的知识和技术。目前，王教授是ICSM的执行董事，2017年应邀担任《国际显微外科杂志》名誉主编。

王教授的目标是继续推动显微外科和超显微外科的发展，克服语言和平台的障碍，将网络与现实世界相结合，让人们可以轻松的学习中国显微外科大师的杰作。希望这一知识的汇集与交流，能够在未来造福全球的显微外科医生和患者。

Professor Zengtao Wang is the world-famous microsurgeon in China. He is currently the chief of Hand and Foot Surgery Department of Shandong Provincial Hospital, professor and chief physician of Chinese Association of Microsurgery, vice chairman of Chinese Association of Microsurgeons (CAMS), Founder and chairman of Shandong Society for Hand surgery and Microsurgery, vice chairman of Shandong Society for Trauma Surgery.

Prof. Wang’s work is filled with creativity, mainly focusing on a combination of clinical research and basic medical research. He has published several world-class original results based on innovative techniques in the clinical medical field. For instance, Dr. Wang’s research made great improvements regarding low-temperature organ preservation. He successfully replanted three cases of the low temperature-preserved severed finger at -196°C. Moreover, he created assembled digit reconstruction, a procedure that brought to light a whole new vision to the traditional procedure which has been used for thirty years in the world by replanting digits through cutting off the index toe. This new technique allows reconstructed fingers to resemble original digits instead of toes. His creativity and innovative visionary lead the field of reconstructive surgery into a new era.
Even more, Prof. Wang exceeded expectations as he placed extra hard work in reviewing and revising microsurgery anatomy, which helped clarify several anatomy structures related to microsurgery. His contribution has an exceptional impact on the improvement of the field of reconstructive microsurgery. He also has many literary works regarding such matters, for instance, the “Clinical Anatomy Atlas of Microsurgery”.

In 1999, Prof. Wang established a customized website “HANDSURGERY” which is a platform for extremities’ microsurgery cases sharing and teaching, this is the precursor of online learning. In 2016, Prof. Wang and Prof. Isao Koshima created “International Course on Super Microsurgery (ICSM)”. The purpose of ICSM is to explore new frontiers of microsurgery, which can be summarized in three aspects: super-tiny, super-challenging, and super-novel microsurgery cases. Between 2017 and 2019, three international conferences hosted in Jinan and Dalian China respectively. Also, ICSM works with IMC online to keep promoting supermicrosurgery knowledge and technique. Currently, Prof. Wang is the executive director of the ICSM. In 2017 Prof. Wang was also invited as the honorary editor-in-chief of the International Microsurgery Journal.

Prof. Wang aims to keep his work promoting microsurgery and supermicrosurgery, overcome the barrier of language and platform, combine the online and real-world, so people can learn the masterpieces from Chinese microsurgery masters without difficulties and vise versa. Hope the knowledge pooling and exchange can benefit global microsurgeons and the patients in the future.
