Dr. Akitatsu Hayashi is the Director of Lymphedema Center, Kameda General Hospital, Japan. He is specialized in reconstructive microsurgery & surgical treatment for lymphedema. He started his career as a plastic surgeon and microsurgeon in 2012 in Tokyo Univ under Prof. Isao Koshima. He has held the present post since 2018 after working in Belgium and Italy as Technical Advisor of Lymphatic Surgery and Imaging. He is well-known as the pioneer in the (Pre-Op / Intra-Op) ultrasonographic imaging of the lymphatic vessel for lymphedema surgery. (World’s first reported that ultrasound visualization of the lymphatic vessels without contrast medium in 2015 & pre&intra-operative ultrasound visualization of the lymphatic vessels using Ultra High-Frequency Ultrasound in 2019). He was appointed to International Scientific Committee Member in 10th Congress of WSRM, Visiting Professor of Asan Medical Center, Korea in 2019, and Virtual Visiting Professor of Buncke Clinic, the USA in 2020. He had invited panel & symposium 36times in 13 countries, and international invited surgery 13times in 8 countries so far. Kameda Lymphedema Center has been the first Asian designated Surgical Centers of Excellence by the Lymphatic Education & Research Network (LE&RN) since 2020. The first book ever published entirely devoted to LV A written by Dr. Giuseppe Visconti has been released in 2020.

Akitatsu Hayashi博士是日本龟田总医院淋巴水肿中心主任。他擅长淋巴水肿的显微重建手术和外科治疗。2012年，他在东京大学担任整形外科及显微外科医生，师从Koshima教授。自2018年以来，他一直在比利时和意大利担任淋巴外科和影像技术顾问至今。他是淋巴水肿手术(术前/术中)淋巴管超声显像的先驱。(2015年全球首次报道无造影剂的淋巴管超声可视化& 2019年全球首次报道超高频超声对淋巴管术前、术中超声可视化)。2019年被任命为第十届世界显微重建外科国际科学委员会委员，韩国Asan医学中心客座教授，2020年被任命为美国Buncke诊所虚拟客座教授。到目前为止，他已在13个国家受邀出席了36次专题讨论会，在8个国家受邀出席了13次国际手术。自2020年以来，龟田淋巴水肿中心已经成为亚洲第一个淋巴教育和研究网络(LE&RN)指定的卓越外科中心。由Giuseppe Visconti博士所著的第一本致力于淋巴管吻合的书已于2020年出版。
