例如: fibroma(纤维瘤),sarcoma(肉瘤),dermatoma(皮肤瘤)等,他们统一的特点就是结尾都是oma,所以我们就可以得出结论oma是瘤的意思。
1.单音节词本身就是在重读音节,如bone(骨)、head(头)。 2. 如:kidney(肾)、finger(手指)。 3.
The aim of this retrospectivestudy was to evaluate the efficacy and medium-term survival, after percutaneousradiofrequency ablation (RFA), in patients suffering from hepatic metastases ofcolorectal cancer.
Hepatic resection (HR) andradiofrequency ablation (RFA) have been proposed as equivalent treatments forcolorectal liver metastasis.
Patients with solitary livermetastasis有孤立性肝转移的患者(可以直接在patients后面用with加病名) Patients with clinical T3/T4rectal adenocarcinoma and no evidence of metastases
Of the 180 patients who werestudied, 150 underwent HR and 30 underwent RFA.
The local recurrence (LR) ratewas markedly lower after HR (5%) than after RFA (37%) (P<.001).
Treatment by HR was associatedwith longer 5-year survival rates than RFA, including LR-free (92% vs 60%,respectively; P<.001), disease-free (50% vs 0%, respectively; P = .001), andoverall (71% vs 27%, respectively; P<.001) survival rates.
LR occurred more frequentlyfollowing RFA (31%) than after HR (3%) (P = .001), with a 5-year LR-free survivalrate of 66% after RFA vs 97% after HR (P<.001).
Patients with small tumorsexperienced longer 5-year overall survival rates after HR (72%) as comparedwith RFA (18%) (P = .006).
In this multicenter study, theaddition of oxaliplatin to intravenous continuous infusion FU and RT forpatients with locally advanced rectal cancer was associated with a highpathologic complete response rate but more toxicity than when FU is used alone.

Forty-four patients wereentered into the study
are often anastomosed by theuse of the circular stapling gun用环形吻合器吻合

For those patients, radicalsurgical resection offers the only hope of cure.
The purpose of this study wasto review and characterize the indications and early outcomes ofabdominoperineal resection (APR) when used in a colorectal practice in anacademic setting.
predicting postoperativemortality in elderly patients undergoing surgery for colorectal cancer.

The mean time elapsed from theprimary operation to that for recurrent rectal carcinoma
There were two deaths.
